His passion for the natural environment, both on this planet and far beyond, has made it's way back on to the canvas, using his education and experience as another non the proverbial 'tool belt'.chool. Upon graduation, Guy enrolled at his local University.
His father asked him what he planned to major in.
He was highly interested in biology and human anatomy at the time. "I'd like to be a surgeon, but my hands shake too much. So, I'm thinking Graphic Design." His father said that was a good career as one of his client's sons was a Graphic Designer, making a decent living as a music video producer in Chicago.
His dad continued,
"Why not an Architect?"
Guy didn't know and ask why not. His father's response was,
"Because an Architect can be a Graphic Designer on the side,
but a Graphic Designer can't be an Architect on the side."
Guy majored in Architecture at the local university where he was taught the fundamentals of architecture, earning two degrees. He's spent his career in the field of Federal Construction, where he's learned not just the 'what and where', but the 'how and why' of architectural design. He earned his license to practice Architecture while working on various military installations and has found a home working for NASA's Michoud Assembly facility in New Orleans.
His passion for the natural environment, both on this planet and far beyond, has made it's way back on to the canvas, using his education and experience as another notch on the proverbial 'tool belt'.
All of this can be seen in his artwork.
